Apple tweaks the Podcasts app

Apple’s (mostly) hated Podcasts app that launched in the summer last received an update in September, finally bringing iOS 6 compatibility, iCloud subscription syncing, the ability to automatically download new episodes only when on Wi-Fi and more. Earlier today, a new version surfaced on iTunes. Podcasts 1.1.2, an incremental update, includes stability and performance improvements, bug fixes and a few enhancements.

According to a new report, the China State Radio Management agency, one of China’s regulatory agencies, has just given Apple’s iPhone 5 the go-ahead for sale in the country.

How green is the iPad mini?

In the run up to last week’s iPad mini event, we heard multiple rumors claiming that Apple’s new tablet would come in multiple colors, like the iPod touch. But obviously, the speculation never materialized.

Initial pre-order stock of black 16GB iPad mini gone

Bad news for folks who haven’t pre-ordered their iPad mini yet, it looks like the initial stock of all of the entry-level models are gone. White versions sold out shortly after pre-orders began Friday morning, and black 16GB minis sold out today.

Record labels reportedly unhappy with Apple’s radio service proposal
